Common doesn't mean normal

Pelvic health problems are common, but that doesn't mean you have to put up with them. Whether your symptoms are new or long-standing, mild or affecting everyday life, specialist pelvic health physiotherapy can help you understand what's happening and find the right treatment.

Many people put off seeking help because they feel embarrassed, assume it's a normal part of getting older, motherhood or recovering from surgery, or simply don't know who to ask. There's no need to feel embarrassed. Seeing a specialist can be a positive first step to feeling more comfortable, confident and in control.

Personal, specialist care

Your assessment is individual to you and carried out sensitively and respectfully. We take time to listen, understand how your symptoms affect you and explain what we find clearly.

Treatment may include education and advice, pelvic floor rehabilitation, exercises, hands-on treatment where appropriate, bladder or bowel strategies, relaxation techniques and guidance on getting back to the activities that matter to you. We want you to have the knowledge and confidence to take an active part in your recovery, and we adapt treatment as your needs change.

Our pelvic health physiotherapists are always happy to discuss your symptoms before you book, so we can make sure it's the right treatment for you. Call 0117 377 0518 or email info@bristolosteopaths.co.uk.
